Know All About Shah Rukh Khan
"If you have personal style, whatever you wear will look stylish." - Shah Rukh Khan, when he bagged the Glam Personality of the Year Award at the Reebok Zoom Glam Awards 2008.
He was born on 2nd Nov 1965 at Talwar Nursing Home, New Delhi. His parents met under strange circumstances. His mother had had an accident, and needed blood. The donor was his father. They fell in love while he was helping her recuperate. SRK and his father, Mir Taj Mohammad, shared a great relationship. They called each other
yaar. After his parents death, SRK came to Mumbai in search of his lady love Gowri and finally settled there.
What began as fondness grew into full-fledged adulation once audiences got a dose of silver screen's larger-than-life Shah Rukh Khan, taking over Bollywood, with his palpable intensity and brimming charisma. And so whether he played good (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge), bad (Darr) or ugly (Baazigar), SRK's box-office credibility just got better and better.
SRK’s always been associated with style and panache; someone who doesn’t follow fashion trends but makes a fashion statement. The ‘cool’ neckpiece became even cooler when he wore it in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and his ponytail look and six-pack abs are still making news. What makes it even more endearing is that even after all this, the actor is too modest to accept being called glamorous, which is why he thinks people around him are more glamorous than him!

When he was criticised for his paid public appearances, he said: "In the world of entertainment, not getting the recognition you deserve is worse that dying of over-exposure. It is better to burn out than to rust out."
Well that's Shahrukh Khan for you...
