D: Ganesh, welcome to Indya Online. G: Thanks a lot
D: How does it feel to be with your online fans? G: It's brilliant because these are the guys who make us the stars we are! D: Tell us how you conceptualized and came up with Kar Le Kar Le... G: I had done Main Hoon Don with Shah Rukh earlier. That was the first song of mine with him. I have done many shows with him...
...and after this song, he text me and said, "You make me look like a super star.", and so I told him that you are a super star! And he said, "No. No one has ever shot me this way before! so stylish..."
When he called me for Kar le kar le, I knew that he wanted something more spectacular, so the first thought was let's make a music video, then kar le kar le, woh line nikaala Vishal-Shekar ne, then he said, "Now you think on how you want to do it." I normally take 3-4 months to work on the song, but this time I had only 12 days!
D: Oh my goodness! Thats less time... G: ...Very less time, then he told me do your best. I started working on it. I decided that we have to give him a new look, and the KBC format is such that you have to sit in a suit... he is closer to the audience and he is very funny on stage, I know this side of Shah Rukh, so I wanted to put across how much of fun KBC is going to be...through this music video...so that's how the song was done.
