D: How did you realize you can sing too!? How did G - your first album happen?
G: I was always singing since when I was in school, I had lectures for singing, we had inter school competitions...music was always there next to me...

Singing was always there, then I started doing shows abroad. I started going with the film stars, Shah Rukh and everyone...at these shows I would sing when the stars needed a break.
But there was one show which I did with Asha Bhosle at Amsterdam and I did Kishore Kumar's Paanch Rupaiyya Baara Aana with her and I performed with the costume changes...

So Ashaji said, "This song, besides Kishoreda no one has performed with me like this!" Thats a huge compliment...so she told me, "Why don't you take up singing seriously!"...that huge compliment was like a stamp of approval, and being such a huge legend and if she is saying I knew there was something good...  

D: A few tips for beginners who wish to learn to dance.
G: The most important thing is to realize it's a big responsibility, because whatever you decide can ruin your family's life because if you do not concentrate on that and if you just take it as a hobby...family will suffer. So first think about your family...
