Rakhi Sawant
Neeru Sawant, popularly known as Rakhi Sawant has created a place for herself in Bollywood through controversies and making catty remarks. She started her career as a model. Rakhi did her first item number opposite Govinda in the film Sunil Darshan's Joru ka Gulam while she was still in school.
Slowly but surely the actress has gained popularity in the Hindi film industry through her films, item numbers, music videos and her own album. Recently she was a part of a reality show that helped her gain an even greater fan following as the audience got to see the private side of the actress.
Rakhi has a sister Jaya and a brother Rakesh. He has turned film director and his first film was Hot Money which was funded by Rakhi. She studied in Goklibai School, Vile Parle and later completed her Arts from Mithibai College.
Rakhi's life has been fodder for magazines and newspapers as she has found herself in the midst of controversies on a regular basis. One of her biggest controversies involved singer Mika. Rakhi claimed that he forcibly kissed her at his birthday party. On another occasion she was also booked in a obscenity case by the police in Kolhapur while performing a show.
A friend of Rakhi's, DJ Shezwood is very close to the actress-singer and feels that she has every chance of getting to the top in the competition. "I am sure that Rakhi will win this show. As a dancer she is mind-blowing and I can blindly bet on her," exclaims Shezwood.

Time in front of a camera: When I was small… my mom took me quietly to Doordarshan to record for a program and I was quite nervous.
Crush: I had quite a tough life that I didn't have a time.
Date: My first proper date is my boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi.

Big purchase: I went and ate amazing Pav Bhaji at a place because we were so poor that we couldn't afford anything. So when I got my first proper pay cheque I bought lots of Pav Bhaji for everyone!
Fight: When I was a little child during Diwali all three of us would be wearing the same thing and I would get very angry with my mum for doing that.
