Guest34: Your film career began at the tender age of 9. How did Mr India happen?
Aftab Shivdasani: I started my career at the age of 6 and a 1/2 actually, someone had approached my dad and we had gone to meet Mr Shekhar Kapoor and that's how me and my sister got selected. 

Guest73: You entered the industry as a child artist. Do you ever have to struggle too much to get roles in movies?
Aftab Shivdasani: It all happened by luck and one morning I got a call to be part of Mast and here I am!!!

Guest60: Besides acting, what are the other things you enjoy doing?
Aftab Shivdasani: I love sports and I love hanging around with my friends and family.

Guest71: Whose Hollywood equivalent do you think you are? For example in Aawara Paagal Deewana, which had an uncanny resemblance to The Whole Nine Yards, you were rumoured to play the role equivalent to Matthew Perry's.
Aftab Shivdasani: I have been told that I resemble Brat Pitt.

Guest82: There are rumours that you have got a tattoo. What have you got a tattoo of and where?
Aftab Shivdasani: I do have two tatoos. One on my right arm and one on my left quatercep. The first one is of four Gods. The other one is the Japanese interpretation of 'the rising sun' as my name means 'the rising sun!'

Guest47: Of all the movies you've acted in, which one is your most favourite and why?
Aftab Shivdasani: Shukriya is my favourite film, as the character was close to my heart and it gave me huge satisfaction to play that character.

Guest89: Your mother is Muslim and your father is Hindu. Do you follow any religion and if you do, which one?
Aftab Shivdasani: My ma is an Iranian and I only follow the religion of humanity. 

Guest60: If you were to produce a movie, who would be the director and who all would you cast?
Aftab Shivdasani: I would cast myself, and I don't know...I would probably get someone of my wave length to be the director of the movie, no specific person.

Guest36: So… who are you dating right now?
Aftab Shivdasani: That's something really personal.

Guest23: Have you faced any problems with your co-stars?. If so? Who?
Aftab Shivdasani: Thankfully, none. I have never had a problem with anybody.

Guest88: Did you enjoy playing a serious role in Red? How was your chemistry with Celina on the sets of Red?
Aftab Shivdasani: I love playing serious roles, and my chemistry was incredible with her.

Guest46: Who are your favourite actors/actresses in the industry at this point in time?
Aftab Shivdasani: Big B, Madhuri at any given point of time.

Guest88: Are you trying to change your 'sugar boy' image?
Aftab Shivdasani: I am just trying to evolve. That's all!

Guest64: Describe a character that you really really want to play?
Aftab Shivdasani: I like to be part of a war film...

Guest76: Which films are you doing now?
Aftab Shivdasani: I am doing a film called De Taali, scheduled for August release, I am also starring in an untitled film with Nana Patekar and Rimi Sen soon.

Guest89: Do u believe in the storyline of Mast?... So if I, a big fan of yours, came in search of you in the big bad city of Mumbai, would there be a possibility of marrying me? ;-)
Aftab Shivdasani: Why not? Try!!! 

Guest62: Any plans of getting married?
Aftab Shivdasani: Not for the next two years!!

Aftab Shivdasani: On an instinct?

Aftab Shivdasani: No, not at all! It was very comfortable!!

Guest52: You've lived most of your life in Mumbai. Is Mumbai your most favourite city in the world and if it is, what do you love so much about Mumbai?
Aftab Shivdasani: Mumbai is home! That's all I can say...

Guest62: Any plans to direct your own movie in the future?
Aftab Shivdasani: No!

Guest89: Are those biceps real? or is it a bodysuit? :)
Aftab Shivdasani: It's not a body suit, it's a body double!!! Why don't you come and feel for yourself!!!

Guest107: Hi Aftab I was in Mumbai this Holi and I had seen you in the Diwali party at J.W.Marriott, as I was staying there. You look very cute. Would you give me a call sometime?
Aftab Shivdasani: Well I would have given you a call but I was not there in the party so you must have caught someone else!!

Aftab Shivdasani: I can't cook, I can't cook, I can't cook - I can definitely make tea!!!

Aftab Shivdasani: Not as yet!

Guest67: If you were nominated to the Oscars. Which movie do you think you would get nominated for till now?
Aftab Shivdasani: Good question... Ankahee

Guest45: Was it overwhelming to work with Urmila Matondkar in your first movie?
Aftab Shivdasani: Yes, indeed. Of course, we shared a very cordial rapport and she is a big star!
