nehagupta87: At 33 you are the voice of many Bollywood stars, but according to you, who is the star best suited to your voice?
kailash_kher:Any talented actor who understands music will be best suited for my voice... I think Aamir Khan will be best suited, as he is a intense actor.
guest58: I read somewhere that you love singing in Sufi style. Don't you want to try other types of singing also? I would love to hear you sing one of your songs here on indya please.
kailash_kher: I don't just stick to Sufi style... I sing all kinds of songs like
Tauba Tauba and also
Chak De.

kailash_kher:Well, I am not married. I wonder where you got that from!

kailash_kher: I have sung for
Aaja Nach Le, which is Madhuri's forthcoming release. And for
Sarkar 2, Bhol Bhulayya, Tera Naam. Also I'm making a new video for my latest album.
guest81: What is the most patriotic thing you hav ever done?
kailash_kher: I've done many concerts where I have sung many patriotic songs. The best one was on Republic Day where we composed President Kalam's poems and it was for a good cause. It was for CRY.
nehagupta87: You have come a long way and have achieved so much. Do you want to do something in music?
kailash_kher: Yeah I'm consatantly trying to experiment... I will soon be working with Paul Oakenfield also.
guest76: What similarities do you think are there between you and Nusrat Fathe Ali Khan?
kailash_kher: I would say it's the choice of lyrics and also the rendering the song from your soul... We call it soulfulness.
guest81: Kailash, that means you are single? I am so glad that I am part of this chat or I would have never known!

nehagupta87: What you think about the new music talent shows. Do you think they are hunting the real talents or just makin money?
kailash_kher: I think there is a combination of both. There is a commercial aspect and there are definitely some good talents also. These shows have benefited a lot of telented people.
guest58: The trend is that now singers are becoming judges. What is your comment on it? And given a chance will you also do it?
kailash_kher: I think singers are responsible and it's great if they are called on to judge these talent shows. I have also been a judge on
Indian Idol and its a tough job.
nehagupta87: People say you are in love. Who is the mystry girl?
kailash_kher: It's funny because I'm in love with music and not with any girl. But I do think that women are God's beautiful creations.
guest112: If you were stuck in life with Mallika Sherawat or Rakhi Sawant; Whom would you choose?
kailash_kher: None of them... I'd rather be a
Sanyasi if that's the choice!

kailash_kher: There are a lot of things.... I basically think that its a journey of the soul. The materialistic things such as money and fame, don't matter that much. The important thing is the love and best wishes that you receive from the people.
nehagupta87: What is your nightmare and your beautiful dream, which you have always wanted to come true?
kailash_kher: I don't have any dreams or nightmares... I live life and take each day as it comes and let destiny take its course.

kailash_kher: I think it will be

guest81: Where do you find peace when you are tired from work?
kailash_kher: I go to the caves in Khandala and meditate... It really rejuvenates me and gives me peace.

kailash_kher: It is a form of recognition and respect. It is always encouraging to receive awards. It adds to the excitement.
nehagupta87: What you think about Bollywood music industry? Can it compete with Hollywood?
kailash_kher: I don't believe in such competion... We do our best and they do their best.
