shaan: It depends... I have enjoyed receiving awards. I don't think they make you any better singer.
guest51: You prefer singing for movies or for your albums? Can you sing a song for us so that we can hear it on indya.
shaan: It's easier to please others than yourself... so movies!
nehagupta87: You are the favorite of all, but wanna ask who is your favorite singer?
shaan: My all time favourite is Kishore Kumar. Among the present singers I like KK and Sonu Nigam.

shaan: Its always better to streach yourself and see how far one can go... Anyways I should be out with an album by the end of the year.

guest87: What was your experience when you were on stage for the first time?
shaan: Nervous... I am still nervous whenever I am on stage.

Star Voice of India... You would be scared of which judge judging you?
shaan: I would be scared of Abhijit
da... He saves these extra points for girls, so I could be at loss.
nehagupta87: You are a great singer and host... how do you manage all this?
shaan: I would like to do more... It must be easy, as everyone is doing all of the above these days.

shaan: You have to accept me with two kids and a wife!
manideepa79: Do you think singers make better judges of other singers or its alright for non-singers like Javed Akhtar or Aadesh Srivastav to judge aspiring singers?
shaan: It's about how keenly one listens and how well you understand the art of singing. It's not abt being a singer, composer or lyrisist to be a better judge. Sometimes a great player doesn't make a good coach!

shaan: The game is open, with public voting... Any of the 12 can make it... I would like to mention a few of my favourites, but I can't for obvious reasons.

shaan: I never make plans... But you would never know.
maham_sear: What are your views on Pakistani singers coming to Bollywood? And do you happen to like anyone of them?
shaan: They bring in a better tonal attitude to our industry. There is no versitality, but their rawness is their appeal I guess. I do like Shafkat from Fussion who sang
