1) If this is the first call that you have received from 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai?' then you have successfully qualified to answer the question that has been asked on air. However, as mentioned to you during the calls, only if you qualify to the next level, will you be called back in the next three days. If you have not heard from 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?' in the given time period, it means one of the following:
a. You have not met with the required criteria.
b. You have not answered the phone test questions correctly.
c. Though you have answered correctly the question(s) asked on the phone and met with the required criteria, since your name is not among those that have appeared in our computerized random selection from all correct entries you have not qualified for the next level/further rounds of the selection.

2) There is only one way to get on to 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?' i.e. by answering the question(s) asked in the on-air-promos via sending SMS or punching the correct answer on reaching the number, as described in the rules. There is no question of bypassing this process, and contacts have no role to play at all in gaining entry into the contest.

It is a fair process, closely monitored by an independent firm. If there are any touts or anybody at all offering an assured place into the contest by any other means, then please report it immediately with details to the police, and bring it to our notice for due action. We appreciate your keenness to be part of the show. We hope you will enjoy watching the programme.



3) You will have to make your own arrangements and bear all the costs and expenses for participating in the auditions including but not limited the costs for traveling, visiting the audition centre, accommodation etc. The company will only bear the travel, boarding and lodging expenses of only those participants and their companions who are selected to participate in the Studio Part of the Show to be held in Mumbai. The expenses occurred in the previous levels including the auditions are to be solely borne by candidates of their own free will.




4) Due to privacy and security concerns and integrity of the show, we cannot list the winners on any public medium. And participants who have been selected by us are also being informed separately on the phone.




5) Presently, the cities where the auditions will be held are as follows:

New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Bhopal



6) The Contestant(s) will be required to carry any one of the following original document at the audition mentioned below:

• Current Passport
  
• Birth Certificate
  
• 10th class certificate
  
• School leaving certificate
  
• Driving License
  
• Pan Card
  
• Photo identification document
  

The Contestant(s) will be required to get himself/herself registered by executing the necessary documents and also by furnishing the documents, including the original photo-identification document and submit a photocopy of the documents duly self-certified, as required to verify the personal details provided by the Contestant(s) in the earlier level.

Each of the selected Contestants shall be required to furnish the necessary documentation (as stated in the General Rules) in original to confirm the eligibility details, etc. provided by the said Contestant. In case the said Contestant is unable to furnish the original document(s) to verify the eligibility details and also submit photocopy of the same, the said Contestant shall be disqualified by the Company.



7) The selection process for 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?' is fair and transparent. The Company request(s) for an affidavit for the following reasons:

(i) NAME CHANGE: When a participant's name gets changed, there is a possibility of another person participating with the changed name (e.g. 'Manish' with 'Munish' or 'Rakesh' with 'Ramesh') thus raising a doubt on the transparency and the integrity of the process. Further, it also reduces the chances of confusion. Consequently, as a matter of abundant caution, the company has decided to request for an 'Affidavit'.

(ii) DATE OF BIRTH CHANGE: The participants inadvertently states a date of birth which could be different from that in the records. In order to clear any doubts and to mitigate any discrepancies as to the correct date of birth, the company has decided to request for an 'Affidavit'"




8) There are multiple methods/modes to register your entry into the contest. Therefore, incase you find it difficult to register through any mode, you may use the other modes of registration. Since multiple modes/methods have been provided you may not face any problems of congestion.

The Contestants can register his/her telephone number to participate in the show by any of the following methods:

(i) Subscriber could call from BSNL or MTNL (Voice - Landline and Mobile) on the number 18628887827 01/ 18628887827 02 / 18628887827 03 depending on the Contestant's answer option.

(ii) Subscribers of Aircel or Airtel (Mobile or Landline) or Tata Indicom (Mobile or Landline) or Vodafone or Spice or Idea by calling number 5057827 01/ 5057827 02/5057827 03 depending on the Contestant's answer option or

(iii) Subscriber(s) of Spice or Aircel or Airtel or Vodafone or Tata Indicom or BSNL or Idea could SMS: "PASS" to 57827 01/ 57827 02/ 57827 03, depending on the Contestant's answer option.

(iv) Effective from March 27, 2008, 7 pm onwards the Contestants(s) can register his/her Airtel customer(s) mobile number by visiting the "Airtel Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" Question of the Day page on the Airtel wap site or the Star wap site and clicking on one of the answer options, Or the Contestant(s) can register his/her BSNL, Vodafone, Idea, MTNL customer(s) mobile number by visiting the Airtel Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain Question of the Day page on the PLUS application and clicking on one of the answer options.

These are the only ways to get on to 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?' by qualifying through these phone lines, as described in the rules.




SHOW



9) The company will bear the following expenses on actual, as specified and detailed at the time of confirmation by the company:
a. Fare to and fro travel of the contestant(s) and his companion from their home town to Mumbai and back, by Air Tickets (economy class)/ Train (2nd class A/c)/ to Mumbai
b. Boarding and lodging would be arranged by the company in the hotel to be decided by the company.
c. Food - fixed meals only at the hotel decided by the company
d. For Mumbai contestants - to and fro the studio travel reimbursement (auto or non a/c taxi)




10) Any person who is eighteen (18) years and above of age, is a citizen of India and is resident of India (as per the definition of "resident" in the Income Tax Act, 1961), should be able to speak, understand and read Hindi and enters the Show in accordance with the rules is eligible to participate. The selection process includes randomly selected six hundred correct entries through landline, mobile and SMS. In order to qualify further, the Contestant(s) will be asked personal details and upon agreeing to be available to be present for audition at the nearest audition centre on their own expense and upon the information provided by the Contestant(s) is found correct and appropriate by the Company, then the contestant(s) would be asked one (1) question on telephone and if the answer is correct, the Contestant(s) will be asked further three (3) questions of which atleast one (1) question should be answered correctly by Contestant(s) to be eligible to qualify for the next Level.
In the next level One hundred and twenty (120) valid entries from the above level, will be selected after the application of Quota 2 and 3 (as stated in the rules) through computer random selection process. These shortlisted contestants will be informed about the audition venue, time and date.

At the audition centre these shortlisted contestants would have to give a written aptitude test followed by camera audition. These entries are then examined by a panel of esteemed jury. A list is Contestants will be prepared on the basis of the written aptitude test, the camera audition and application of Quotas. Once again the camera audition and written aptitude test results of the aforesaid Contestants will viewed by an esteemed panel of jury on the basis of knowledge, communication skills, personality and talent/performance. On the basis of the total scores secured by each of the Contestant, the Contestants will be selected and contacted individually by the company.

11) Any contestant(s) who has been called for the audition by the Company, irrespective whether qualified/disqualified/unable to make it to the audition for any reason whatsoever, the Contestant will not be eligible to participate in the entire Season any more.



12) The maximum prize a show player can win in the Show is Rs. 5 crores. Any and all taxes and/or levies applicable under the laws of India shall be borne by the winner(s) in relation to the prize.



13) The venue for the recording is Studio No.7, Dadasaheb Phalke Chitra Nagri, Film City, Goregaon (East), Mumbai - 400065. However, the company reserves the right to change the address without prior notice and the contestant(s) are requested to check the websites.

Any terms stated herein which may be contrary to the rules and regulations stated herein, then the terms stated in the rules and regulations shall apply.
