When
Sabsey Favourite Kaun first started, it was the only award show of its kind. Over the years its popularity has grown leaps and bounds. In December 2006, SFK went international. We received a whopping 13 lakh votes over a period of two month. Sixty countries from all over the world voted for
Sabsey Favourite Kaun.
The results were announced at an exclusive Golden Globe style round table dinner and the event was attended by the who's who of the film industry. The event was attended by topmost stars like Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Bipasha Basu and many more. The event was hosted by Ayesha Takia and the the comic trio - Ranvir Shourie, Vinay Pathak, Suresh Menon.
This year it's the celebration of the fifth edition of SFK. So, this year get ready for more surprises, more laughter and double the fun. Its only going to get better.

Sabsey Favourite Hero: Shah Rukh Khan
He had proved his mettle as a fine actor, but
Swades put him in the league of extraordinary actors. He is truly the King Khan of the film industry. He struck a chord with the audiences with his performance and also won high accolades for it, making him the unanimous choice for the Sabsey Favourite Hero.

Sabsey Favourite Heroine: Rani Mukherji
After the huge success of
Saathiya and
Chalte Chalte, Rani was one of most sort after actress in the film industry. She was distinct from other actress in style, attitude and confidence. Eventually she became the darling of the masses.

Sabsey Favourite Comedian: Paresh Rawal
He became a household name after his stupendous performance in
Hera Pheri and
Aankhen. He can make anyone laugh with his superb dialogue delivery and deadpan face. Paresh was the recepient of the Favourite Comedian in 2004 too.

Sabsey Tez Sitara: Abhishek Bachchan
After his much-appreciated performance in
Yuva, Abhishek Bachchan had finally arrived. And the
Junta concurred when they voted him as the
Sabsey Tez Sitara of the year. Ever since there has been no looking back for AB's baby.

Naya Hero: Zayed Khan
The youngest of the Khan Scion, Zayed Khan made an impressive debut in C
hura Liya Hai Tumne and followed it up with
Main Hoon Na where he held his own in front of King Khan. His naughty images made him a sweetheart of many women. It is no surprise that he winning the
Naya Hero award.

Nayi Heroine: Ayesha Takia
The beautiful Ayesha Takia was noticed for her bubbly and vivacious role in
Socha Na Tha. She was applauded for the aplomb with which she carried her role, making her a frontrunner and eventually won the
Nayi Heroine award.
