When
Sabsey Favourite Kaun first started, it was the only award show of its kind. Over the years its popularity has grown leaps and bounds. In December 2006, SFK went international. We received a whopping 13 lakh votes over a period of two month. Sixty countries from all over the world voted for
Sabsey Favourite Kaun.
The results were announced at an exclusive Golden Globe style round table dinner and the event was attended by the who's who of the film industry. The event was attended by topmost stars like Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Bipasha Basu and many more. The event was hosted by Ayesha Takia and the the comic trio - Ranvir Shourie, Vinay Pathak, Suresh Menon.
This year it's the celebration of the fifth edition of SFK. So, this year get ready for more surprises, more laughter and double the fun. Its only going to get better.

Sabsey Favourite Hero: Shah Rukh Khan
2007 belonged to Shah Rukh Khan, as two of his movies (Main Hoon Na & Veer-Zara) went on to become Box Office blockbusters and his critically acclaimed movie
Swades, struck a chord with the audiences. His portrayal of Mohan Bharghav in
Swades, won high accolades and the social message in the movie was well accepted. It was no surprise he was the
Junta's Favourite Hero.

Sabsey Favourite Heroine: Rani Mukherji
This dusky actress gave a series of superhits such as
Hum Tum,
Bunty Aur Babli and
Yuva, making her the Queen Bee of Bollywood. Rani Mukherji has always managed to impress the audience with her performance and is a hot favourite in this category.

Sabsey Favourite Comedian: Paresh Rawal
He became a household name after his stupendous performance in
Hera Pheri and
Aankhen. He can make anyone laugh with his superb dialogue delivery and deadpan face. He struck a chord with the audiences with his performances and also won high accolades for it. Paresh was the recepient of the Favourite Comedian in 2004 & 2005.

Sabsey Tez Sitara: John Abraham
A well known model, John ventured into movies with
Jism and broke the myth that "models cannot act". His performance was well received and he won many awards including the
Sabse Tez Sitara. He is also known as the hottest hunk of Bollywood and his love life provides a lot of fodder for Page 3 news.

Naya Hero: Kunal Kapoor
Although his career didn't take off with a blockbuster, Kunal Kapoor's sensitive portrayal of Aslam in
Rang De Basanti won him many accolades and also the
Naya Hero award. Kunal has now carved a niche for himself in the industry and we can't help noticing his uncanny resemblance to hearthrob Hrithik Roshan.

Nayi Heroine: Vidya Balan
She is the eternal Indian beauty who conquered the hearts of people by potraying the character of a sensitive girl, Lalita in
Parineeta. Vidya Balan won the
Nayi Heroine award by a huge margin. And she truly lives up to the expectations of people till today.
