Synopsis
Shyam (Bobby Deol) robs a 30 crore diamond and hides it in an under construction building. He is arrested and jailed. Months later when he is released and rushes back, he is surprised that the construction site where he had hidden the diamonds now stands a police headquarters.
Shyam then dons garb of Inspector Ram in search of booty duping the ACP (Paresh Rawal) who is not aware of Inspector Ram's true identity. Meanwhile, colleague Inspector Ranjita (Bipasha Basu) loses her heart out Ram much to the chagrin of Inspector Pande (Om Puri) who is of extremely suspicious nature. Kaajal (Shilpa Shetty) who is ACP's daughter falls for her driver Shyam.
