Synopsis
Dulhe Raja is the story of Raja (Govinda) who owns a small restaurant across the street from a five-star hotel. The new owner of the hotel, Seth Singhani (Kader Khan) wants Raja to close the small restaurant that competes with his hotel. Seth tries everything in his power from buyout offers to using force to eliminate raja, but fails miserably.
Things get complicated when Raja meets Kiran (Raveena Tandon), Seth's daughter, and they fall in love. Not realizing this, Raja goes to her house to meet her parents. This surprise meeting sets off the sparks and sets the pace for all the high jinks and plot twists that follow. The funny storyline will keep you entertained till the end.

|  | The film was released at the time when Govinda and David Dhawan were delivering superhit comedies. Many thought that this movie is also directed by David Dhawan. Though it was a comedy and starred Govinda, it was directed by Harmesh Malhotra.
