Synopsis
Hulchul is the story of two conflicting families and their vengeance.
Angaarchand is the head of the first family and the richest landlord of his village Matkapur. He believes in keeping his family away from women and has inculcated these ideas in his four sons.
His elder son Balram tried to marry once, but failed due to a tragedy. Balram's younger brother Kishen wishes to stay a bachelor all his life.
Bhakt is a devout celibate who runs a dairy business. The third son of the family Shakti wants to keep away from women and believes in speaking the truth and nothing but the truth. The fourth son Jai studies law in a college and is yet to be smitten by a girl!
Lakshmidevi is a respected landlady in the neighboring village of Anpura. She has three sons Surya, Pratap and Veer. Of the three, Veer is the strong pillar of Lakshmidevi's family.
Lakshmidevi wants to take revenge of Angaarchand. So she uses her grand daughter Anjali as a weapon against Angaarchand and his family.
Anjali and Jai study in the same college. Knowing each other's family background well enough, they pretend to be in love with each other in order to take revenge. But they truely start loving each other...
